EurAsEC PMs to meet in Minsk Oct 27
MOSCOW. Oct 19 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk on October 27 at which topics of discussion will include control over the movement of goods within the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and antidumping measures.
The prime ministers of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will consider a number of key issues concerning the EurAsEC integration agenda, the Russian Cabinet's press service said.
The meeting will cover the development of a mechanism to control the movement of goods within the community, certain aspects of trade policy, including the procedure for imposition of antidumping measures, and issues concerning the international activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the press service said.
The prime ministers will also discuss the draft of a new EurAsEC Customs Code, approve the community's draft budget for 2017 and sign a protocol to extend an agreement on the implementation of a pilot project in 2015-2016to introduce labelling of goods with identification tags.
