Russian counter-measures in response to new U.S. sanctions to be announced on Friday - Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - Russian counter-measures in response to outgoing U.S. President Barack Obama's decision to expel 35 Russian diplomats and introduce sanctions over alleged involved in cyber attacks will be announced on Friday.
"Tomorrow [on Friday] there will be official statements, counter-measures and plenty of everything," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on her Facebook account.
On Thursday, the United States imposed new sanctions on Moscow over cyber attacks allegedly staged during the U.S. presidential elections.
