Date for Russia-Belarus Supreme State Council session not agreed yet - Peskov
MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Russia and Belarus have not yet agreed a date for holding a session of their Supreme State Council, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The date has not been agreed yet bearing in mind the schedules of the heads of the [two] states," he said when answering a question from Interfax.
"There is no precise date yet," he said.
The Kremlin said a few days ago that it was hoping to agree a date for holding a session of the Russia-Belarus Supreme State Council with Minsk in order to discuss the whole range of issues present on the two countries' agenda.
"We expect that we will be able to coordinate somehow the timeframe for holding the Supreme State Council to discuss the entire array of issues on the agenda of the Union State. We will inform you if and when this timeframe is coordinated," the Russian presidential press service told reporters on February 3.
