Russia to put up its MiG and Su aircraft for India Air Force tender - federal agency for technical-military cooperation
BANGALORE. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Russia will be taking part in an Indian tender for the supply of 400 fighter aircraft for the country's Air Force, Vladimir Drozhzhov, deputy director of the federal agency for technical-military cooperation, said.
"We will definitely be taking part in the tender, the Russian side sent its specific offers even before the tender was announced," he told a press conference in Bangalore on Wednesday.
Russia is ready to offer its Mikoyan and Sukhoi aircraft, he said.
An international aerospace show, Aero India 2017, is taking place in Bangalore, India, on February 14 - 18.
