Actions dedicated to anniversary of 2014 events end peacefully in Kyiv

KYIV. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Major actions dedicated to the third anniversary of the events on Independence Square are over in central Kyiv.

A lot of oil lamps are burning on Khreschatyk and Independence Square, as well as on the Alley of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. The loudspeakers are placed near the Independence Stele.

Not quite many law enforcers are staying in the center of the city, the situation is calm.

At the same time, representatives of nationalists and participants of the railway traffic blockade from the part of Donbas outside Kyiv's control continue to stay on the intersection of Instytutska and Bankova Streets. A small tent is installed there.

Participants of this action are also behaving themselves peacefully.
