Lavrov to visit Armenia
MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has accepted an invitation from Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian to visit Yerevan.
"Edward Agvanovich also invited me to [pay] an official visit to the Republic of Armenia; we gladly accept this invitation," Lavrov said before talks with Nalbandian in Moscow.
For his part, the Armenian foreign minister said that at the meeting they will be discussing preparations for the upcoming visit of his country's President Serzh Sargsyan to Russia.
Prior to their meeting the two foreign ministers inaugurated an exhibition on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Armenia.
