Russian truckers can transport cargo throughout Serbia without special permits from March 25
MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - New changes to an agreement on international motor service between Russia and Serbia come into force on March 25, Russia's Federal Automobile Transport Agency said.
According to the changes, Russian and Serbian freight carriers will not need to fill out special permits to transport cargo transiting on the territory of the two countries.
"Moreover, the relevant agencies of the two countries will give each other a mutually agreed to number of blank permits to transport freight in bilateral transportation each year free of charge," the agency said. "The blank pages should contain a signature of the responsible party and a stamp of the relevant agency which gives the permit. The permits given during the year will be valid until January 31, 2018 inclusive. In the given case, each permit will provide the right for one roundtrip, unless something else is called for in the permit itself."
