Putin, Sri Lankan president to discuss economic, cultural cooperation prospects on March 23 - Kremlin
MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena at the Kremlin on Thursday to discuss prospects for cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, according to the Kremlin website.
The presidents will also exchange views on a number of pressing regional and international issues, the statement says.
The Sri Lankan president will be on an official visit to Russia at the invitation of the Russian head of state.
