Explosions at Balakliia arsenals could last another week - Groysman

KYIV. March 23 (Interfax) - The explosions over half the territory of artillery arsenals in the town of Balakliia in Kharkiv region and the resulting situation may remain complicated for up to seven days, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said.

"Around half the arsenal proper has been damaged, we can see that we need a few more days, the situation may continue for up to three to seven days," the premier told journalists in the Kharkiv region.

The regional state administration is expected to ask the central government for extra funding from the national budget reserves, he said. The necessary funds will be "promptly" allocated, Groysman said.
