Kazakhstan to boost mutton exports to 160,000 tonnes a year by 2021
ASTANA. April 4 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan plans to increase mutton exports to about 160,000 tonnes by 2021, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva.
"By 2021, mutton exports will reach 160,000 tonnes a year," she told a Monday briefing in Astana.
Kazakhstan is now getting required approvals from Chinese and Iranian veterinary regulators, according to Isayeva.
