Suspected St. Pete suicide bomber's mother doesn't believe in his role in attack
MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - The parents of Akbarzhon Dzhalilov, a suspected suicide bomber who is believed to have set off a bomb in the St. Petersburg metro system on Monday, arrived in St. Petersburg from Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday, the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) channel said in a report.
The only words Dzhalilov's mother said to reporters upon arrival were: "I do not believe in this."
Dzhalilov's parents will have to undergo the procedure to identify the suspected attacker and will be questioned by investigators handling this criminal inquiry.
