Rosenergoatom revises 2017 power generation forecast downward to 201.1 bln kWh

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Rosenergoatom Concern , the electric power division of Rosatom, has revised downward its forecast for power generation at Russia's nuclear power plants in 2017.

Russia's nuclear plants will generate 201.1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in 2017, according to Rosenergoatom's annual report for 2016.

In materials published last fall, the company said the nuclear power plants would generate 203.447 billion kWh in 2017, up from 195.015 billion kWh in 2016. The forecast for installed capacity at the NPPs in 2017 was 27,852 megawatts.
