Russia records 13 ceasefire violations in Syria in past 24 hours - Defense Ministry
MOSOCW. April 19 (Interfax) - Russia has recorded 13 ceasefire violations in Syria in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The Russian delegation to the joint Russian-Turkish commission dealing with violations of the joint agreement has recorded 13 ceasefire violations in the past 24 hours, including seven in the Damascus governorate, five in the Latakia governorate, and one in the Hama governorate," the Russian center for reconciliation of the opposing sides in Syria said in a news bulletin posted on the Defense Ministry's website.
Turkey recorded 20 ceasefire violations in Syria in the past 24 hours, the bulletin said. "An inquiry conducted by the Russian delegation confirmed one ceasefire violation, and the remaining 19 were not confirmed," the bulletin said.
