Memorandum on Syria de-escalation zones being considered at Astana talks - Kazakh Foreign Ministry

ASTANA. May 3 (Interfax) - A memorandum on Syria de-escalation zones is being considered at bilateral meetings in Astana, Kazakh Foreign Ministry's Asia and Africa Department Director Aidarbek Tumatov said.

"A memorandum on the so-called de-escalation zones to alleviate tensions is being considered at the moment. The delegations are negotiating this subject," Tumatov told reporters in Astana on Wednesday.
