Ukrainian foreign minister to hold informal meeting with his EU counterparts in Brussels on May 15
KYIV. May 12 (Interfax) - An informal meeting between the foreign ministers of European Union countries and Ukraine will be held in Brussels on May 15, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"First and foremost, it is important to make sure that as many Ukrainians as possible will take advantage of it [EU-Ukraine visa-free travel]. I will speak about it on Monday when I attend a meeting of 'Ukraine + Group of Friends of Ukraine in the EU', namely [a meeting] between all foreign ministers in Brussels," Klimkin said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
It is important to develop relations between Ukraine and the EU as part of the Eastern Partnership program, he said.
