Oil production in Kazakhstan up 7% in Jan-Apr
ALMATY. May 12 (Interfax) - In January-April 2017, Kazakhstan extracted 23.692 million tonnes of crude oil and 4.534 million tonnes of gas condensate or up 7% and up 11.4%, respectively, compared to the same period last year, the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry said.
This volume includes 7.887 billion cubic meters of natural gas in a gaseous form (up 11.5% year-on-year).
In the reporting period, the output of associated petroleum gas came in at 9.715 billion cubic meters (up 14.2%).
