EchoStar XXI satellite reaches planned orbit - space center source

BAIKONUR. June 8 (Interfax) - The U.S. satellite EchoStar XXI, which was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome earlier on Thursday, has assumed its planned orbit, a Baikonur source told Interfax.

"All engines of the Briz-M upper stage have worked properly, and the spacecraft has been placed into the planned orbit," the source said.
