Mishustin: threat of coronavirus spreading in Russia minimized
MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - The threat of coronavirus spreading in Russia has been minimized, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, opening a Cabinet meeting.
"All our preparations have been carefully calibrated and justified," he said, recalling that the World Health Organization officially said yesterday that a pandemic was now under way.
"I reiterate: all the measures we are taking are being carried out to prevent and preempt coronavirus. This is our head-motif, and this is why, despite the acute situation outside Russia, the threat of the infection spreading inside our country had been reduced to a minimum," he said.
