Rosneft needed 6 days to fully resume filling stations operations after cyber attacks

MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Rosneft needed six days to fully resume the operations of its filling stations following last week's cyber attacks against Rosneft computer systems.

"The retail chain is operating as usual. Cash register facilities for petrochemical sales at all Rosneft filling stations have been fully resumed," the oil company said in a statement.

Last week Rosneft said that the retail chain was operating as usual following the cyber attacks but some filling stations were experiencing difficulties with their cash register facilities.

Rosneft also said that it has not yet started to assess the impact of the cyber attacks but that production had not been affected. "There are certain problems that are being rapidly resolved. The company is operating as usual. The situation is under control. It is still too early to assess the impact of the cyber attacks," the company said.
