DPR sees 26 attacks by Ukrainian army in past 24 hours
DONETSK. July 5 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has seen over two dozen attacks by the Ukrainian army in the past 24 hours, a spokesman for the DPR Defense Ministry told reporters on Wednesday.
"The Ukrainian army breached the truce 26 times during the day. The army shelled the areas of 15 populated localities of the republic, using mortars, tanks, infantry combat vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers, and small arms," the spokesman said.
In turn, the army operation staff said on Facebook on Wednesday that the militia launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian army positions over the day yet no casualties were inflicted. The militia conducted seven attacks in the Mariupol sector, six in the Donetsk sector, and two in the Luhansk sector, the staff said.
