Poll: United Russia popularity rating for June 26 - July 2 amounts to 47.8%

MOSCOW. July 6 (Interfax) - The electoral rating of United Russia party in the middle of June reached 50.9% (average size for June-12-18) but went down to 47.4-47.8% during the two last weeks of the month, VTsIOM public opinion center reports.

The electoral indicators of other parliamentary parties fluctuated within 2 percentage points. During the week of June 26-July 2 declared support for the Liberal Democratic Party was 12.1%, for the Communist Party - 9.8% and for A Just Russia - 4.8%.

President Vladimir Putin continued to top the rating of confidence among politicians with 49.2% (on June 26-July 2). He was followed by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu (15.8%) and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev (13.5%).

Approval of the president's work grew to 84.6% on June 12-18 and slipped to 81.4% on June 26-July 2. Sociologists note that by the end of the month the evaluation of the work of the prime minister (48.9%) and the government (55.1%) went down.

VTsIOM-Sputnik tracking polls have been conducted in 2017 among Russians aged 18 and more. Every day, 600 respondents are interviewed in no less than 80 regions. The average rating for seven days of polling is recorded. The poll is taken in the form of telephone interviews.
