Grain shipment on Russian railways up 7.4% in July

MOSCOW. August 9 (Interfax) - Rail shipments of grain, feed, buckwheat, flour, and milled products rose 7.4% year-on-year to 12.223 million tonnes in July 2017, Russian Railways (RZD) said in materials seen by Interfax.

Domestic shipments grew 2.4% to 12.223 million tonnes and international shipments grew 13.6% to 5.5 million tonnes, with import shipments falling 31% to 611,800 tonnes while exports rose 18.8% to 4.557 million tonnes.
