Inter RAO not experiencing problems with servicing of Siemens equipment
DOBRYANKA (Perm Region). Aug 25 (Interfax) - Inter RAO is not experiencing difficulties in working with Siemens following the introduction of restrictions by the German company due to the circumstances surrounding the delivery of turbines to Crimea, company chief Boris Kovalchuk told journalists.
"We are having no problems with supply of equipment, nor any problems with servicing. All obligations are being adhered to," he said
Inter RAO uses Siemens equipment extensively in its operations. The company launched two new power units this summer that were built using Siemens turbines.
Siemens earlier announced that it was limiting cooperation with Russian state companies on existing contracts due to, in its view, the illegal delivery of its turbines to Crimea by Rostec. Siemens did not however specifically name the companies under restriction. Inter RAO said that they do not require shipments of Siemens equipment.
Inter RAO is a state-owned generating company. Its principal shareholders include state-owned Rosneftegaz and Federal Grid Co .
