Ukraine needs to develop new missiles, space reconnaissance assets- Poroshenko
KYIV. Sept 7 (Interfax) - Ukraine needs to develop new missiles, artillery weapons, attack drones, and space reconnaissance assets, President Petro Poroshenko said in his annual address to the parliament on Thursday.
"We have before us the important task of developing and building new missiles, a cruise missile complex, modern precision-guided artillery systems and munitions, unmanned aerial attack vehicles, and space reconnaissance assets," Poroshenko said.
Although Ukraine has had the capacity to produce such equipment, it did not do so until recent years, Poroshenko said.
