Russian MinFin to issue further retail OFZ bond tranche next week

MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - The Russian Finance Ministry will start offering another tranche of retail federal loan bonds (OFZ) next week.

"We have over-fulfilled our retail OFZ program. We have had two issues and are planning a third before the end of the year," Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters.

"We'll offer the next tranche next week," the head of the Finance Ministry's department for state debt and financial assets, Konstantin Vyshkovsky, said at a conference.

He said the ministry had adopted a policy of lowering the premium, which for the first two tranches was 50 bps against standard OFZ, for the retail bonds.

"We didn't want to award a premium for the third issue, but we decided to lower it to 25 bps," he said.
