United Russia to get some 1,150 deputy mandates in Moscow, Yabloko to get over 170

MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Candidates from the United Russia party have won 76.83% of the 1,502 mandates in the elections of deputies of municipal entities in Moscow, Moscow City Elections Commission Valentin Gorbunov said, citing preliminary results.

"United Russia candidates may get 76-77% of the mandates (some 1,150 mandates) and Yabloko may get 11.7% (some 176-177, as compared to 25 in the past elections). It is interesting that self-nominated candidates came in third, with 7.2%," he said.

The Communist Party will get 2.9% (some 43 mandates as compared to their previous 212) and A Just Russia gets 0.67%, (some 10 mandates, as compared to their previous 128).

The Liberal Democratic Party, the Party of Growth, and PARNAS received less than 1%. For example, the Liberal Democratic Party will get some four mandates, as compared to their previous 25.

"Muscovites' political preferences are changing," Gorbunov said.
