Legitimacy of Sunday elections was ensured on fairly high level - Peskov
MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax) - The legitimacy of the elections conducted in various regions of Russia on Sunday was ensured on a high level, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The legitimacy of the election was ensured in the country on a fairly high level," Peskov told reporters.
That follows from the information coming from the Central Elections Commission stating that many fewer complaints have been registered than before and most of them were less serious in nature than before, he said.
"That is, there have been complaints on surrounding and secondary issues, I will put it that way," Peskov said.
