No plans to increase size of Russian National Guard, its special units - HR department head
MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - There are no plans to enlarge the size of the Russian National Guard, head of the Guard's human resources department Maj. Gen. Viktor Matsyuk said.
"The Russian National Guard has over 340,000 servicemen. I have no information about plans to enlarge the staff. Special units employ about 28,000 persons, and their size is also not expected to change," Matsyuk told a press briefing on Tuesday.
