Over 45,000 Aleppo residents got medical aid in past 3 months - Russian reconciliation center

ALEPPO, Syria. Sept 12 (Interfax) - The Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides has provided medical assistance to some 46,000 residents of the Syrian province of Aleppo in the past three months, Maj. Gen. Igor Yemelyanov, the head of the Russian center for reconciliation in Aleppo, told journalists on Tuesday.

The center organizes events to provide medical assistance in every populated locality of the province, including with the participation of a specialist medical squad, he said.

"Here, over the past three months, medical assistance was provided to about 46,000 people, most of them children," Yemelyanov said.
