Oil supplies to world market dropped by 720,000 bpd to 32.67 mln bpd in Aug - IEA
MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - Oil supplies to the global market dropped by 720,000 bpd in August, due to unscheduled interruptions and scheduled maintenance shutdowns, the International Energy Agency said in a monthly report.
It is the first supply drop in four months, to 97.7 million bpd.
The OPEC countries reduced oil production in August for the first time in five months, by 210,000 bpd to 32.67 million bpd, the IEA said.
