Russia to cut national defense expenses to 943 bln rubles in 2018
MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Russia plans to allocate 943.634 billion rubles to national defense in 2018, according to the draft federal budget published on the draft regulations website on Monday.
According to the document, 860.629 billion rubles will be provided for national defense in 2019, and 869.128 billion rubles will be provided in 2020.
According to the draft budget, the Russian Armed Forces will receive 771.114 billion rubles in 2018, 753.946 billion rubles in 2019, and 771.917 billion rubles in 2020.
In 2017, national defense expenditures reached 1.21 trillion rubles. Of this amount, the Armed Forces received 867.596 billion rubles.
