Russia ready to discuss delivery of helicopters to Afghanistan on commercial terms - Kabulov
NEW YORK. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The delivery of Russian military helicopters to Afghanistan is not on the agenda, yet Moscow is ready to discuss such deliveries on commercial terms with Kabul, Zamir Kabulov, Special Representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan, said.
"No, this is not [an item on the agenda]. Afghanistan made a request. We offered them a commercial delivery for money. I again offered the Americans to make the supplies themselves," Kabulov said, answering the question from an Interfax correspondent after he met with Alice Wells, Acting Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, and Acting Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
He added that Russia would be 'prepared' to discuss the deliveries on commercial terms.
