Russia to broaden cooperation with China in space exploration
ADELAIDE, Australia. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Russia is studying the possibility of sending cosmonauts to China's future orbital station.
"The issue has been addressed before," Roscosmos head Igor Komarov told reporters who had asked about China's invitation to Russian cosmonauts to visit its space station.
Roscosmos said it was hoping to broaden cooperation with China in space exploration in the near future.
"A basic and fundamental bill regulating the exchange of rocket technology has been signed, and I expect the parliament to ratify it within a month or two. Hopefully, it will open up the opportunity for full-scale cooperation. Broad vistas will open up in many areas, and we can see that our partners are interested," he said.
