Belarusian Special Forces, Russian Airborne troops conducting drill until Oct 8 - Minsk

MINSK. Sept 26 (Interfax-AVN) - A Belarusian-Russian exercise involving the Special Forces and the Airborne Troops has begun in Belarus.

"The joint tactical exercise of special operations teams is being conducted as part of bilateral military cooperation between the Belarusian Armed Forces Special Forces and the Russian Armed Forces Airborne Troops in Belarus from September 25 to October 8, 2017," the Belarusian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

The goal of the exercise is personnel's practice during joint operations, the exchange of experience while implementing various objectives, as well as the improvement of servicemen's field training.
