Russian, Guinean leaders to discuss Russia-African Union cooperation, problems in Africa - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on Thursday with the Guinean President and current head of the African Union, Alpha Conde, who is currently on an official visit to Russia, the presidential press service said on Wednesday.

"During the negotiations, the parties plan to discuss the current state and prospects for development of Russian-Guinean relations, aspects of cooperation between Russia and the African Union, and relevant international and regional problems, primarily those existing on the African continent," the press service said.

Conde is visiting Russia on Putin's invitation, it said.
