Russian oil exports outside CIS up 2.8% in 9M
MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax) - Exports of Russian oil to countries outside the CIS grew 2.8% year-on-year in January-September 2017 to 179.325 million tonnes (4.815 million barrels per day), the latest figures from the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) show.
In September alone, exports fell 7.8% year-on-year to 18.519 million tonnes (4.525 million bpd).
The Transneft pipeline network carried 162.483 million tonnes of oil for export in 9M, of which 148.205 million tonnes was Russian oil; and exports bypassing Transneft came to 31.120 million tonnes.
In September alone, exports via Transneft came to 17.608 million tonnes, of which 16.049 million tonnes were Russian oil; and 2.407 million tonnes bypassed Transneft.
Transneft pipelines carried 16.336 million tonnes of oil for export via the port of Novorossiysk in January-September (1.496 million tonnes in September), 34.066 million tonnes via Primorsk (3.695 million tonnes), 23.509 million tonnes via Kozmino (2.309 million tonnes) and 17.688 million tonnes via Ust-Luga (1.899 million tonnes).
Rosneft exported 75.710 million tonnes of oil to the non-CIS via Transneft in January-September (8.778 million tonnes in September), Lukoil - 16.213 million tonnes (1.519 million tonnes), Surgutneftegas - 21.670 million tonnes (2.384 million tonnes), Gazprom Neft - 7.727 million tonnes (0.657 million tonnes), Tatneft - 11.073 million tonnes (1.308 million tonnes) and Bashneft - 239,300 tonnes (nil).
Rosneft purchased a controlling stake in Bashneft - 50.0755% of shares - in October 2016. However, CDU TEK continues to publish separate figures for Bashneft.
Companies that are not part of vertically integrated oil companies exported 13.074 million tonnes of oil to the non-CIS through Transneft in January-September (1.182 million tonnes in September).
Transit of oil from Kazakhstan totaled 11.906 million tonnes in 9M (1.259 million tonnes in September), transit of Azerbaijani crude was 1.158 million tonnes (169,700 tonnes) and transit of Belarusian crude came to 1.214 million tonnes (130,600 tonnes).
Russian oil companies slashed oil exports to CIS countries 10.5% year-on-year in January-September to 13.498 million tonnes, all to Belarus.
