Isolated detonations continue at military depots in Ukraine's Vynnytsia
KYIV. Oct 2 (Interfax) - Isolated detonations of ammunition continue at military depots in Ukraine's Vynnytsia region, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service said in a statement on Monday.
"There are no open flames, but isolated detonations of ammunition are still being observed," the statement said.
A combined pyrotechnical unit has searched an area of 12.6 hectares for explosive devices. It is also responding to citizen reports regarding suspicious objects. In all, 313 reports have been filed, and 309 of them have been processed. As many as 547 explosive devices have been found and removed.
A total of 1,763 men and 333 vehicles are taking part in the response.
