'School truce' violated over 1,000 times, eight residents wounded - DPR

DONETSK. Oct 2 (Interfax) - Eight civilians have been injured and 58 houses damaged since the 'school truce' began, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told journalists.

"Since the beginning of the 'school truce', the Ukrainian armed forces have violated the ceasefire 1,169 times. According to official data, eight civilians have been injured and 58 houses damaged over the period," the representative said in a statement.

Under the 'school truce', which entered into force in Donbas on August 25, the parties undertook to observe an indefinite ceasefire.
