Karabakh settlement intermediaries to go to Baku on Saturday - Azerbaijani foreign minister
BAKU. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will visit Baku on October 7, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a press conference on Tuesday.
"The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will be visiting Yerevan on Friday and Baku on Saturday," Mammadyarov said.
"The co-chairs are visiting the region to discuss with the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia the agenda of their future meeting," he said.
The intermediaries want the meeting of the presidents "to bring logical results and to put the settlement process in motion," Mammadyarov said.
As reported earlier, the co-chairs will discuss the current state of the Karabakh settlement process and the effort to arrange a meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan while visiting Yerevan and Baku.
