Russian Embassy: video proves that U.S. officials stayed in Consulate General in San Francisco overnight

WASHINGTON. Oct 4 (Interfax) - The Russian Embassy in Washington DC has called attention of the U.S. Department of State, whose spokesperson has denied the breaking of locks of the Russian Consulate General in San Francisco, to the videos that were posted by the Russian Foreign Ministry and proved otherwise.

"At the State Department briefing on October 3 the Spokesperson Heather Nauert stated that the US side yesterday did not break locks of the Russian diplomatic facilities in San Francisco.

"In this regard we would like to draw everyone's attention (and especially Mrs Nauert's) to the following video evidence that clearly shows how US officials broke into our buildings. And what was called 'walking through, looking around lasted whole night," the Embassy said on Facebook.

Nauert said on Tuesday that FBI agents did not enter the Russian Consulate General in San Francisco and that the locks were not broken.
