Armenia to continue efforts to settle Karabakh conflict together with OSCE Minsk Group - president
YEREVAN. Oct 5 (Interfax) - Armenia will continue joint efforts with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to peacefully settle the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian presidential press service quoted President Serzh Sargsyan as saying while meeting with newly appointed U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Andrew Schofer.
"Noting that the co-chair has taken office at quite a difficult moment in the process of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the Armenian president wished him success in performing this crucial mission," the press service said.
Sargsyan said he hoped the efforts that the mediating countries are making to achieve a peaceful solution to the problem in accordance with international norms and principles will be successfully continued, and Armenia stands ready to keep making efforts together with the co-chairs toward this end.
