Moscow region's Sindika shopping center fire put out after 2 days

MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - The fire that broke out at the Sindika shopping center at the 65th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road in the Moscow region has been completely extinguished, the main regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Interfax.

"The fire was extinguished at 3 p.m. Moscow time," a spokesperson said.

The fire broke out at about 3 p.m. on October 8 at the Sindika building materials shopping center, which is located at the 65th kilometer on the external side of the Moscow Ring Road. Internal structures and the roof later partially collapsed. The fire was contained at 10:56 p.m. on October 8 to an area of 55,000 square meters. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an open fire in the shopping center was put out at 7:03 a.m. on October 9. Three people were hurt in the fire.
