ChelPipe elects new CEO

CHELYBINSK. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The ChelPipe board of directors decided to terminate the tenure of CEO Alexander Grubman at a session on Friday, the company said in materials.

Boris Kovalenkov was elected as the new CEO for a three year term.

The company promised to comment on the new appointment later.

Grubman's tenure will come to an end in December 2017. He replaced Vitaly Sadykov as CEO on December 24, 2014.

Chelpipe Group brings together Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and PJSC Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant ; scrap metal company LLC Meta; metal trader CJSC Uraltrubostal Trading House; trunk pipeline equipment manufacturers LLC Eterno, CJSC Pipeline Bends and MSA a.s. (Czech Republic); and oil services division Rimera. All assets are structured under the head company of the Group, Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant.
