Rimera chief to head ChelPipe's pipe division

CHELYABINSK. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The board of directors at the ChelPipe Group, has appointed Boris Kovalenkov as head of the Pipe Division for a three year term.

Kovalenkov replaces Alexander Grubman, whose contract is due to expire and who has decided to leave the company, ChelPipe said in statement.

Kovalenkov is currently head of the Rimera Group of Companies and has worked in the ChelPipe system since 2008.

Alexander Grubman replaced Vitaly Sadykov as CEO on December 24, 2014.

"Kovalenkov will be responsible for day-to-day management of the pipe division from October 16, 2017, improving its efficiency and financial and operating results and expanding its sales markets," ChelPipe said.

Chelpipe Group brings together Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and PJSC Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant ; scrap metal company LLC Meta; metal trader CJSC Uraltrubostal Trading House; trunk pipeline equipment manufacturers LLC Eterno, CJSC Pipeline Bends and MSA a.s. (Czech Republic); and oil services division Rimera. All assets are structured under the head company of the Group, Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant.
