SKOLKOVO. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Rosneft has proposed 15 fields with 6.13 million tonnes of production for development under excess profit tax pilot projects, First Deputy Energy Minister Alexei Teksler told reporters.
"They proposed 15 fields with 6.13 million tonnes of total production," he said.
The excess profit tax system is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2018. For the time being, it will only apply to several pilot projects, with combined production of no more than 15 million tonnes. Up to mid-October, Russian oil companies had proposed pilot fields with 7 million tonnes of production.
Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich had said that Rosneft was ready to propose pilot projects this week.
