Russian coal output up 7.3% in 9M - Rosstat

MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Russia raised coal production 7.3% year-on-year in January-September to 302 million tonnes, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Coal output in September rose 9.2% year-on-year and was up 4.1% from August 2017.

Production of metallurgical coke fell 4% year-on-year in 9M 2017 to 21 million tonnes.
