MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Kazakh copper producer Kazakhmys Corporation LLC produced 169,400 tonnes of cathode copper in January-September 2017, 3.7% more than in the same period last year, the company reported.

The average copper grade was 0.99% in 9M compared with 0.95% a year earlier.

Kazakhmys concentrators processed 21.8 million tonnes of ore in the period.

The company plans to produce 232,400 tonnes of cathode copper in 2017 as a whole, 3% more than in 2016.
