Iraq to warn foreign governments in advance if foreign companies have to leave Kurdistan - foreign minister
MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The Iraqi authorities will coordinate their actions with foreign governments if they have to ask foreign companies to leave Iraqi Kurdistan, Iraqi Foreign Minister Abbas al-Jaafari said.
"The Iraqi government is considering the possibility of asking foreign companies to leave Erbil. No such decision has been made as of yet. Baghdad does not want the situation to reach that stage but we will coordinate our moves with foreign governments if it comes to that," al-Jaafari told Interfax answering the question of whether Baghdad might ask Russian companies to leave Iraqi Kurdistan.
