Hevel to launch industrial rooftop solar power plant in Chelyabinsk in Nov

CHELYABINSK. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Hevel Group, which is jointly owned by Rosnano and Renova group, is implementing a project to create the first industrial rooftop solar power plant in Chelyabinsk Region on the roof of Russian electric motors, a leading manufacturer of high-voltage electric motors, Hevel said in a statement on its website.

Capacity at the station will total 240 kWh with the launch date set for November 2017.

The statement said that the station is being built using highly efficient solar modules produced using hetero-junction technology (HJT) at Hevel's Russian plant. A total of 840 HJT solar modules will be installed, which is a record efficiency rate for series production, with cells efficiency exceeding 22%.
