Sobchak counting on 'system' to help her gather signatures to qualify as presidential candidate
MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The Russian television presenter Ksenia Sobchak, who has decided to run for president, says she has a special system for gathering the number of signatures required to register as a candidate.
"I have the system and I have an idea how this [the signatures] can be gathered in thousands of locations in the regions. The system will help do it. I will announce it soon," Sobchak said on the show Pryamoi Efir on the Rossiya-1 television channel on Wednesday.
A specialist with experience in Moscow municipal elections will be responsible for gathering signatures online, she said.
"We are not running specific traffic there. We are not doing that because I think one should be honest, " Sobchak said.
